In Genesis 1, God created the heavens and the earth with His Word. Genesis 1:2-3 says, “Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was moving, hovering and brooding over the waters. And God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light.” God dispelled and separated the light from the darkness and called the light day and the darkness night. The Spirit of God was hovering over the darkness. Today, the Spirit of God is hovering over every darkness in our lives; whether it be depression, fear, anger, lack anxiety, etc. The Spirit of God is moving to dispel the darkness and create His Light in our lives. The Spirit of God is also hovering over the darkness in the earth today. God is moving and hovering over the earth to eliminate the darkness and bring in His Light over the earth He created.
