Satan's plot was to deceive Adam and Eve and have them lose their birthright to live in a beautiful paradise on earth, with God forever. However, God had a plan to redeem His creation from sin and destruction. In Genesis 3:15, God foretold that the offspring of the woman would crush satan's head and reverse the curse. At the appointed time, Jesus came to the earth to redeem us from the law of sin and death. The devil had a plot, but God had a plan and His plan never fails. God has a plan for us to overcome our trials as well. Isaiah 46:9b-10 says, "....I am God, and there is no other. I am God, there is none like me. I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, 'My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please,'" (NIV).
