There are two types of fear - Godly fear and ungodly fear. Godly fear is having awe, reverence or an attitude of deep respect for God, which leads us to have an intense love and appreciation for Him. God is the King and the Supreme Being in all the earth. Revelation 4:11 says, "You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being." On the other hand, ungodly fear or the lack of faith or trust in God is to be frightened of or worried or to be in doubt. It is the anticipation that we may suffer harm or something may go wrong.
