All of Israel were afraid of the giant Goliath, except David. Goliath paralyzed Saul's army with his threats day in and day out. The Israelites were overcome with fear and intimidation, until David stood up to Goliath. David trusted God and knew Goliath was no match for his Creator. David stood his ground and defeated Goliath. He said in Psalm 16:8, "I keep my eyes always on the LORD. With Him at my right hand, I will not be shaken."
