Every good father communicates with his children. God, our Heavenly Father communicates with us as well. From the very beginning when He created Adam and Eve, God communicated with His children; even after they sinned. God communicated with Abraham, Moses and His prophets throughout history and today He has spoken to us through His Son, Jesus Christ.
"In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe." Hebrews 1:1-2 NIV God has preserved His Word for us, the terminal generation, because He loves us and He desires to show us the path to Him, the author of life. "Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path." Psalms 119:105 NIV.
