The storms of life come to each of us. We all go through physical and spiritual storms. However, Jesus reminds us that He is the Lord over every storm. The storms of life never take Jesus by surprise. They may take us by surprise and we may feel unprepared to go through the storm. However, Jesus saw the storm coming way in advance and has already made preparations for us to overcome the storm. Jesus wants us to look to Him during the storms of life. He is the Lord over every storm.
"And He arose and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, Hush now! Be still (muzzled)! And the wind ceased (sank to rest as if exhausted by its beating) and there was [immediately] a great calm (a perfect peacefulness)." Mark 4:39 AMPC
