Cast All Your Cares Upon the Lord

Show Notes

A man driving his pickup truck one day, saw a man carrying a heavy load on his back. He stopped and offered the man a ride. The man quickly jumped in the back of his truck. The driver looked back to check on his passenger, when he was shocked to see that the man was still carrying the heavy load on his back. Many times, we as believers do the same thing. We are in Christ, in the back of the pickup truck and we are still carrying our past, our fears, our hurts, stress and worry on our backs. Jesus wants us to cast all our cares upon him. Why, because he cares for us affectionately and has the solutions to our burdens. 1 Peter 5:7 says, "Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you watchfully," (AMPC). Listen to the latest Wear Scriptures Podcast to see how to cast all your care upon the Lord, once and for all.
